metty’s EP ‘Not The Right Time For Us’ is the soundtrack for every person with a broken heart.
“Heartbreak is one of the most unbearable feelings I can think of. The only good thing about it: it‘s the best song material. In the midst of a breakup and many late night sessions, I wrote these four songs to cope with everything I felt back then: loss, jealousy and pain but also confidence that everything will fall into place in the end.”
The message of those songs: sometimes it’s just not the right time for two people. Somehow between the lines, the songs also tell a story about getting back your self respect and the power of being happy alone.
The EP has a modern sound between indie and dark pop and ends with an acoustic ballad that will remind people of metty’s first EP ‘Outdated’.
